I accidentally met a video with clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson and was struck by his even and well-worded thoughts. The ability to tell the truth (even if it is not very pleasant) made him popular all over the world. He seemed to know the answers to any questions. I listened to all his debates and it lit a fire in me. Wanting to get anywhere near his level of thinking made me read and think.
Jordan's second book, "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos," will be great for people during a difficult period of life and will help put things in order in their heads.
Many people post quotes from great people: scientists, philosophers and geniuses. To reach their bar, you have to spend a lifetime. Difficult and no need. People do not really want to get unnecessary skills and sacrifice pleasure. But! I know a way to attend a stand-up concert and still move my rusted gears in my head. The book is called "Plato and a Platypus Walk into a Bar. Understanding Philosophy Through Jokes" The name itself already takes the viewer to itself as something funny (as it is). If reading Nietzsche - your brain is overloaded, then the whole book consists of jokes and jokes on the topic of philosophy. This is a light express course with an emphasis on pleasure, but in the form of education. It is this kind of literature that should be in schools, while replacing the useless classics of the 19th century. It's cool when you can eat fast food and lose weight or read jokes and get smarter. I recommend.
